The DELTA-U range are Type I, self-supporting channels in accordance with the EN-1433 standard. These channels do not require additional lateral reinforcement when being installed. They are reinforced trench drains made of C60/75 grade, self-compacting concrete (SCC).
DELTA-U channels are extremely suitable for the load classes A15, D400 and F900. The drains are able to transfer heavy loads to the underlying foundation that naturally must have been correctly designed and built for this.
The channels of the DELTA-U range are characterised by the different types of covers, namely concrete or cast iron.
Moreover, the range is very broad and there are different, standard inside widths available: 200mm – 300mm – 400mm – 500mm – 600mm. Larger inside widths are also possible on a project-by-project basis, such as for example 800mm – 1000mm – 1200mm – 1500mm – 2000mm even up to 2500mm.
The DELTA-U range is completed with complimentary elements such as sand traps, covers, sludge traps and connectors.
The channels all have a tongue and groove joint that facilitates placing and aligning them. After placement, this joint will limit settlement in case of incorrectly used, designed and/or laid foundations.
